Rena Aliston is the pen name of Native American author Anna M. Asbury, an enrolled member of the Saponi-Catawba Nation of the Ohio Valley. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she currently resides in Kentucky.
She is the author of nine books, most recently Conjure Volume 2, The Green Hour: The Hourglass Collection Book 2, and The Devil’s Hymn: A Collection of Short Crime & Horror Stories.
Her new poetry collection, The Black Hour: The Hourglass Collection Book 3, will be released on October 13, 2025.
